Attraction
Dolphin Island.
A set of educator-led encounter programmes with Indo-Pacific bottlenose dolphins, run by the Singapore Oceanarium team. Capacity is intentionally limited; reservations open some weeks in advance and often sell out, especially on weekends and public holidays.
Programmes
| Dolphin Discovery | Shallow-water introduction. Shortest minimum age. |
|---|---|
| Dolphin Adventure | Longer session with more hands-on behaviour cues. Standard age minimum. |
| Dolphin Observer | Non-swimmer option for family members accompanying a participant. |
Age, health and swimmer requirements
Age minimums and swimmer requirements vary by programme and change periodically. All participants must complete the health declaration at check-in. The park operator makes the final call on participation, including on the day for medical reasons. Check the official booking page for current rules.
Reserving a slot
Slots are released in blocks; weekend and public-holiday blocks typically clear first. Bookings are tied to a date, time and participant name; name-change rules apply.
Welfare note. Dolphin Island presents itself as an education-first encounter. Programmes do, however, involve captive marine mammals; readers weighing animal-welfare concerns may wish to review the operator’s published welfare and husbandry standards before booking.
